CISTI adds four Far Eastern library collections to catalogue

The Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (CISTI) has announced the addition of collections from four Far Eastern libraries to the CISTI Catalogue. The libraries include the Science and Technology Policy Research Information Center, Taiwan, Sunmedia Co., Japan, the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China and the Korea Institute of Scientific and Technical Information.

CISTI customers can now access all the four collections directly and more cost effectively. The collections added include over 10,000 STM journals, articles and reports. Clients can also use CISTI�s Direct Service delivery to order documents from the Far East collections.

The CISTI Catalogue, which comprises over 50,000 serial titles and over 800,000 books, reports and conference proceedings, allows its customers to easily search, access and order documents. An institute of the National Research Council of Canada, CISTI is one of the prime sources for information in the science, technology, medicine and engineering sector. NRC Research Press is the institute�s STM publishing arm."
